From the Terhune Letter (1)

Albert Jr's third wife was Maratie de Graves Terhune the mother of at least 3 of his 15 children. She married 1. Andries Tibout had a son Jacobes Tibout (ch Dec 7, 1701) 2. Albert Albertse Terhune Sept 8, 1705 and 3. Jean Alice of Hackensack on Sept 23, 1709. Albert's will dated Feb. 16,1709 from his house in Hackensack. He willed his wife "the Northwest chamber of the house, firewood, apiece of ground for a garden, 10 schepples of corn and 6 schepples of wheat yearly".

The house was described as a good size house with four rooms. It was situated in New Jersey so that it overlooked the Hackensack river. In Jan. of 1717 the house was the scene of a wedding between one of his daughters Geertruyd and Hendrick Banta. It was reported to be filled with Dutch, French and English heirloom furniture and was still in use in the 1930's. It was torn down in 1951.
