1.-Michael Albert TERHUNE (Nov. 28, 1867-Feb.18,1911 in Spokane WA) Buried Feb 19, 1911 at Fairmont Memorial Park Cem.Spokane, WA. Married Dec 31, 1903, Alice Amelia WILCOX (b.Jan 12 1878, Cheverie d. 15 Nov 1971 Uxbridge, Mass) of Kempt, N.S. daughter of Charles Dixon WILCOX (b.c 1855 Kempt Shore-m. Dec. 6 1873 - d. 1931) and Sarah Jane LAKE (1849-1933) sister of Henry LAKE. Alice was the first of 11 children. She married second April 28 1923 North Attleboro, Mass, Luman A. DROWNE.(3.) (b.Dec 28, 1878 d. Feb 2 1967) Alice Amelia Terhune first arrived in the US on May 8 1905. Her petition for citizenship on Jan 19 1934 states that she had a daughter Grace Born Jan 31 1907 at Woonsocket R.I. 1940 US census Alice A. Drowne age 61 Hopkinton Mass.
-Grace TERHUNE.(b. Jan 31 1907 at Woonsocket R.I.-) 1930 US census she is living in Providence, R.I. as a servent. 1934 city directory Providence R.I. she is a housekeeper.
The following is from the Spokesman Review, Spokane, WA, Feb 19, 1911.
"LEAP FROM WINDOW KILLS HOTEL GUEST. M.A. Terhune Succumbs to Injuries Received at Coeur D'Alene Hostelry Monday. As a result of a broken back, sustained last Monday when, suffering with hallucinations, he jumped out of a third story window and down the airshaft of the Coeur d'Alene hotel, M.A.Terhune, age 50 years, a carpenter, died yesterday afternoon at Sacred Heart hospital.
The man had probably lain for several hours where he had fallen before being found and was taken to the emergency hospital, where he was treated till Friday night. He was then taken to Sacred Heart. No hope was held for his recovery.
He is survived by a brother, A.C. Terhune of Greenwood, B.C. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Buchanan undertaking rooms, and burial will take place in Fairmount ." (Memorial Park Cem.Spokane, WA). (A.C. was probably L.C. (brother Lorne Campbell Terhune) who was living in Greenwood, B.C. at the time)

3.-George William TERHUNE (Feb 12, 1872-Jan. 26, 1963). Married (11 Nov 1901 in Greenwood, BC) Anna Jessie MOFFATT (Nov 1877-Dec. 28, 1962). Moved back to Kempt Shore, N.S. sometime around 1908 (mother's death). Must have sold the farm and moved back to B.C. before 1915. Family Pictures
4.-Robert Walter TERHUNE (May 22, 1874 Tennycape- Nov15 1935 Melrose, Mass). 1900 census Boston ward 24, Walter Terhune, single, immigrated 1892, occupation: coalman. Married June 10 1901 in Boston Mass. Maria O'DONNELL (b. 8 Aug 1876 Westport, Ireland-d. 18 May1914 Windchester, Mass) dau. of Michael (1840-1917) and Sarah Gill O'Donnell. 1910 and 1930 US census had Robert (cousin) living with PERRY family. Maria was using her maiden name when she died so they probably divorced between 1902-1910. Maria had a nephew, Desmond whose daughter sent much of his information.

5.-Ethyl Blanch TERHUNE (Feb 16, 1877-Jan 30,1900) Born in Tennycape, died in Kempt.
6.-Lorne Campbell TERHUNE (Mar 9, 1880-Nov 1, 1923) Born in Tennycape died in Vancouver B.C. Married (May 5, 1910) Hattie Hazel SKELTON of Greenwood B.C. He lost his sight in a mining accident and later had a store in Greenwood. Hazel married (2) FENTIMEN and moved to Vancouver BC. Family
7.-Liberty Byron TERHUNE (b Nov 4,1883 d. 21 Mar 1964) in Langley, B.C.). Registered for US draft 1917-1918 Oakland CA. 1920 US census has Liberty B. Terhune 34 living in Washington Township, Yolo, CA. He had an uncle, Albert Grant Terhune and a cousin Robert Morrison Reid living in Chico, Ca at the time. Was living in Oakland in 1927. He was back in Canada by 1953 as a gardner. Unmarried.
